I would like to submit my daughter's neurosurgeon, Dr. Joseph R. Madsen at Children's Hospital Boston. We have only had the pleasure of meeting him twice, but the first time we did meet him, he asked us if Julia could participate in a trial they were doing! Wow, our very first meeting and already a trial?? I was impressed!

Julia was a trooper and did everything she was supposed to do. It was a non-invasive test, and she did a great job!

Thankfully, Julia has not needed Dr. Madsen's surgical services, and she only sees Dr. Madsen once a year. Our hope is that if Dr. Madsen is chosen for this gift by the PHF, Juila will be able to participate in another trial the next time she goes to see him. Who knows--the next trial could be a signifcant improvement in treating children with Hydrocephalus!
