My name is Brayden Bodo and I am currently 3 months old. I have many heroes in my life, my mom, dad and family but the reason why I smile is because of my neurosurgeon, Dr. Tobias. At just four weeks old, I was diagnosed with congenital hydrocephalus with a large arachnoid cyst.

The size and location of the cyst proved to be a very unique case, but Dr. Tobias was determined to make me feel better. My last surgery was on December 15th, 2010 and I am currently at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital waiting for my cyst to drain.

Dr. Tobias has performed three surgeries on my delicate brain and cares for me as if I were his own. My mom and dad are constantly worried about my wellbeing but Dr. Tobias' guidance and vigilance helped them navigate through these terrible times.

From the moment we were referred to him from our pediatrician, he has always been by our side to support us. Dr. Tobias has not only saved my life, he is also my hero.
