Hydrocephalus Foundation of the Philippines, the one who helped us for my little angel's surgery. Dr. Manny Cacdac & Dr. Navarro are the Neurosurgeon in the foundation who helps us and more hydrocephalus children. September 22, 2010, It was a scary and upsetting time for us and our family. Our little girl had surgery to place the shunt. I felt everyone's prayers with us. Everything went very well and I'm happy to say, we finally brought our little angel home on September 27, 2010. Kyla has taught us so much about life.
Dr. Manny Cacdac & Dr. Navarro are the Heroes of my little angel (and all the Hydrocephalus patients in Foundation) Dr. Cacdac the one who's done the surgery to my little angel. He is the Chairman of the Hydrocephalus Foundation of the Philippines (HFP).
For all his outstanding achievements in the field of medicine, he is most recognized for his humanitarian endeavors in the Philippines. He has been involved with the SPSA surgical missions to the Philippines since the early 90's organizing, procuring supplies and asking for donations. The surgical team usually performs 300 to 500 surgeries each trip. Dr. Cacdac's special project is the shunting of hydrocephalic children in the Philippines. Besides operating on these children during the SPSA surgical mission, he procures donations of VP shunts and goes back to the country once or twice a year to conduct the said procedures. He later formed the Hydrocephalus Foundation of the Philippines with a group of close friends who have the same interest in trying to save the lives of helpless children.
Dr. Cacdac & Dr. Navarro's saved my little angel's life and all the hydrocephalus patient in the foundation. We're glad to had a doctor like them. God brought them to us to save more lives. Thank you so much Doctors. The no. 1 Heroes of my little angel life.
Thanks & God Bless.
