THE PHF TO AWARD $5,000 IN DONATIONS TO YOUR CHILD’S NEUROSURGEON/HOSPITAL FOR THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

The PHF is announcing its ‘Heroes of Hydrocephalus’ contest for the Holiday Season. As parents of a child with Hydrocephalus, we recognize that one of the most important people in our child’s life is their Neurosurgeon. These Doctors are truly the ‘Heroes of Hydrocephalus’.The PHF would like to thank and honor them for their role in treating and saving our children.

If you are under 18 years old, or if you are a parent of a child under 18 years old, with Hydrocephalus, simply write and submit to us a short story, (at least 2 paragraphs long), of what your Neurosurgeon means to you/and your child.

All stories will be posted online on our website in our ‘Heroes of Hydrocephalus’ feature section for all to read in honor of the Neurosurgeon. On Tuesday night, December 21st, the PHF will randomly select 10 stories and issue checks in the amount of $500 to the Neurosurgeon’s Hospital in YOU and YOUR CHILD’S NAME.

The drawing will be held live on the Internet for all to watch as the winners are chosen and announced. (Details to follow on this).

Contest Rules

1 All stories must be received by Monday night, December 20th @ midnight, and must be at least 2 paragraphs long.

2 Stories can be submitted by email, fax or mailed to the PHF office or by visiting the PHF Website and submitting your story ONLINE.

3 The Board Members of the PHF are prohibited from participating.

4 Only ONE submission on behalf of your child or for yourself. (i.e.- Mom and Dad can’t submit separate stories)

5 All stories will be stored in individual matching envelopes and 10 stories will be randomly selected on Tuesday December 21st

6 Stories can only be submitted by Mom, Dad, Guardian or the child themselves.

7 All winners will be notified on Wednesday December 22nd and arrangements will be made to get the check to your Neurosurgeon & Hospital.

8 All story submissions are public domain and may be used by the PHF, Inc. in promotional materials and in press releases.
